Beef Ramen, P95 from Karate Kid.

It was a perfect weather for a hot meal and since it was raining this afternoon I had to choose a merienda that best beats this cold weather with a hot Beef Ramen from Karate Kid, a Japanese-American fusion fast-food restaurant, featuring the flavors of Western and Eastern cuisines.

For only P95, I satisfied myself of an authentic Japanese noodle. The beef strips is tender and juicy, and I really love how it was well-cooked. It was just perfect to the bite. To complete the meal, I also ordered Ebi Tempura (5 pcs.) and Tuna Sashimi (6 pcs.). It was a treat that I always crave for and whenever I get that chance, I wouldn’t miss having a flavorful Japanese meal for a day.

It’s good to know that Karate Kid is serving an affordable Japanese cuisine, fast-food type. Karate Kid offers a Blockbuster 99er meals that comes with a refillable rice, a real value-for-money treat.

Actually, there are restaurants and fast-foods that caters to authentic Japanese meal, but others are quite expensive and selections are few as compared to Karate Kid’s. If you are looking for affordable Japanese meal, you should include Karate Kid on your list.

For example, Ebi Tempura is only P135 for 5pcs. and the Tuna Sashimi, P82 for 6 pcs., not bad for budget-tight and conscious customers. You wont get short-changed because I will assure you that you will get a full tummy with these meals I mentioned.

And if you’re looking for other selections, Karate Kid also serves Burger meals, Pasta, Milk Tea, and Premium Crepes, that comes in 4 flavors. The Mango and Cream Crepe is my choice!

You may visit Karate Kid in one of their newly-opened branch in Farmer’s Plaza in Cubao. This is located on the 3rd floor and just a few walk-steps from the MRT and LRT-2 stations.
