Camiguin is magical

When I told myself that I will be traveling more this year, I was making a statement. And the gates of opportunity opened for me to travel not just parts of Asia but as well as in our own country. Philippines has really more to offer and it’s really more fun to travel and explore the country’s many island destinations.

To burn or not to burn?

To burn or not to burn?

I should know because I have experienced it myself. Having been pampered like a king as I stayed in one of the resort’s Deluxe Garden room. Man, you can call a big group to join you for party in this 44 square meter floor area that has a King Size bed! There’s also an open-plan bathroom with a sunk-in tub with 22″ LCD in the bathroom and 40″ LCD in the main bedroom! This already calls for perfect “pop na pop” ratings! Continue reading

We would want to start this story with, “Hey! Did you know that there’s a mall and a hotel in Baguio that has no air-con?” But you might not find it funny, so we’ll go straight and filly your thoughts on how to enjoy a comfort stay in Baguio at Azalea Residences.

Azalea Residences is a one year old service type-apartment hotel with a five star level housing 99 well-appointed suite rooms. Azalea Residences has a fine dine-in restaurant, Tradisyon Coffee Shop also known as Tradisyon Pinoy Comfort Food and a bar named Eight Degrees Lounge, where you can meet-up with friends or business clients. Yes, because Azalea Residences perfectly fits for backpackers, flashpackers and business travelers who are in for a comfort stay when they are searching for hotels in Baguio.

For flashpackers like us, it’s comforting to know that before our trip, our stay-in and accommodation are all ready and well-organized. An exactly in-between backpacking and joining an organized tour, we flashpackers combine both of this. Just like a backpacker, we also have a certain budget for traveling but we tried to book or hop-in for the best accommodation before we jump in our travel gear. We do sometimes go on a backpacking tour, like for an instance, when we visited Cebu City on December last year, we went on a solo backpacking on this beautiful city of the South. Commuting and trying to find our own way – thanks that we didn’t get lost there, we made it back to our hotel just right after sunset.

So, during the pre-Summer season and just in time for the Panagbenga Festival, we, the flashpacking guy joined a bunch of travel bloggers from Manila, Cebu, and Cordillera, that was organized by this Vincent guy. Who’s this guy again? Just kidding. Vincent Tabora is not only the friendliest but also one of the great bloggers in Cordillera – he manages www.LakbayBaguio.com which organized our Baguio Benguet Bloggers Appreciation Tour 2013.
