Ocean Park Hong Kong tour!

Once inside Ocean Park Hong Kong, you can never stop yourself to appreciate this amazing theme park, alongside Hong Kong Disneyland – both favorite destinations of first-timers and frequent Hong Kong visitors. For now we’ll share you our experience inside Ocean Park Hong Kong. We do look forward that we can visit Hong Kong Disneyland on our next Hong Kong trip.

Before we begin our tour, let me introduce Ocean Park Hong Kong to you. Ocean Park Hong Kong (Chinese: 香港海洋公園), commonly known as Ocean Park, is a marine mammal park, oceanarium, animal theme park, and amusement park, situated in Wong Chuk Hang and Nam Long Shan in the southern District of Hong Kong. Ocean Park Hong Kong started to operate on 1977 with then Governor of Hong Kong Sir Murray MacLehose. It has grown  to about 35 attractions and rides.

Such main attractions are the newly opened Polar Adventure, Thrill Mountains, Rainforest, Aqua City, Ocean Express, Amazing Asian Animals, Giant panda Adventure, Jelly Spectacular, and many more exciting themed areas and rides that are not great value for your money, but are also wonderful experience to cherish in a lifetime.

Admission
Admission is HK$280 for Adults and HK$140 for Children (aged 3-11). Incidentally, Ocean Park Hong Kong is celebrating its 35th year anniversary. Find out more about Ocean Park Hong Kong offering and promo discounts here.

Transportation
Visitors can either take the Citybus route 629 at Admiralty MTR Station or Central (Star Ferry) directly to the park entrance. As we’ve mentioned previously, bus fare can be paid by Octopus Card or by cash.
